sleeve-valve
I'm researching the original paint on my 1948 GMC. The exterior matches a Morat Green paint chip. The interior was a light grey. Were there factory paint names and chips for the interior at that time? I should be able to find a match at my local paint shop no problem, but just curious about how things were done then. Guest Commodore
Well, in the Chevy world the grey interior paint was called Pulsar Grey. Chevs of the 40's offers it.Chevs of the 40s: 3700359P 47-54 - Chevrolet%20Paint -Cab Interior, Pulsar Grey Enamel
Rusty_OToole
They certainly do have names, chips and color cards for the interior of cars. Also for wheels, when they differ from the body color. And for painted grillework and other trim, when they were painted, as they were on cheap pickup trucks and Studebaker Scotsmen.
