TomTIII
1. Does anyone have the build-plate paint codes, or know a source for 47 and 48 (Royal Bus. & Windsor Highlander coupes)?2. I have seen an original dealer promo picture of a two-tone re/maroon Traveler; were there any coupe two-tone paint combinations?I'm working on two coupes ath this time, and trying to decide on colors. Have some chips. Thanks,Tom
c49er
I have never seen a factory 3 pass or club coupe done in two tone. Here are the paint combinations for 1946-8 Chryslers. Codes 31,44,46,54,64 and 87 are upper and lower two tone combo's.

I am restoring a '47 Windsor sedan was had shortlisted colors which , as learnt now, were only Town & Country colors. Will someone please advise on the correct colors for a Windsor sedan. Thanks. Just to be on the same page, codes with one (1) asterisk is a standard color for the Town & Country and two (2) asterisk means special Town & Country country Color. What I decipher is the codes without any mark are for Windsor, Royal and New Yorker. Am I correct?
