bbrroowwnn Posted November 29, 2012 Share Posted November 29, 2012 Just wondering if anybody has a source for new radiator apron felt bumper rivets for 29 DA dodge.....These are the 6 felt head bumpers that go into the radiator apron and press against the inside of the top frame covers....they have a split metal end that you bend over like a cotter pin that holds them in place....Not sure of the proper term for them Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

bbrroowwnn Posted December 4, 2012 Author Share Posted December 4, 2012 I will take a picture but there is none of the felt left on the heads because when I sandblasted it took it all off....I should have taken them out first and put them back in after sandblasting.... bbrroowwnn Posted December 4, 2012 Author Share Posted December 4, 2012 Hi Ron, Maybe it was a circle underneath the head of the rivet that I blasted away, but either way it covered the whole head of the rivet so as not to rattle and make noise....hoob welting?
