rlcokc
Want to make sure I'm clear on what I'm looking for. The arm which has female splines which attaches to steering box and it curves under frame and has ball which attaches to bar/link with other end of the bar/link attaching to center link which attaches to tie rods, both left and right. The arm I'm looking for is probably 8 inches long and curves to about 90 degrees. Just wanted to be clearer--like mud. ThanksRod
FLYER15015
Rod,What is wrong with yours ? Worn ball / bad splines? If it's the ball, we repair Fords all the time, by boxmilling the ball down to a "stud" and drilling a big ball bearing and tig welding it onto the stud.Mike in Colorado
rlcokc
The ball is fine but the splines seem a bit damaged as it won't slide onto the arm from the steering gear. Tried to take angled file and clean it up but not really helping. Thanks for the suggestion.Rod
