Paul Falabella
Thought this would be a cinch, or I'm doing something wrong. First it was a real PITB to get the seal to seat in the slot. Now it seems the channel in the rubber is too deep on the outside so the window will not swivel entirely closed. Does the rubber need to be trimmed? Am I missing something? For what this chunk of rubber cost, it should jump into the door by itself!
Guest martylum
Paul-I wonder if you installed the new glass edge stop rubber backwards. This is the rubber the open edge of the glass closes against and the high spot should be toward the inside of the car window.Marty Lum
old-tank
I'm seeing something backwards...the sliding latch should be outside when the vent is open and only inside when latched.
Paul Falabella
That was indeed the problem. Still tight but closes flipping the frame the other way. Thanks again.
