Hi I bought a Buick CB-6 awhile ago. Anyone knows what years this unit was an option? Is it a "real" Buick option?

My 1965 Riviera has had a CB mounted sometime in it's life.

Theres still holes from the microphoneholder in the panel. Thought of installing a cb instead of fixing the holes (like that it's the orginalpanel).

I also need an antenna in the right look from that time, anyone knows where to get one?

thanks J

The CB-6 is a "real" Buick option, and I believe it 1st became available on 1968 models. It was available several years thereafter until CB band was integrated with the AM/FM in-dash radio as an option. The antenna was one that clamped on the trunk lid lip.

IIRC it was made in Japan and either sourced thru Lafayette Electronics, or essentially same as one of their products.
