1925Stanley
Good Morning!I am researching my 1925 Stanley Steam Car and have been told that the chassis or frame is a 1925 Studebaker frame. The company made only about 50 or 75 cars in 1925.Does anyone have a photo of a 1925 Studebaker chassis or frame? Does anyone have a parts manual that might show this frame? Thanks very much!Don HokeVisit the Virtual Steam Car Museum!

nvonada
Never heard such a thing but I suppose it is possible. I got to see a Stanley running once. Took most of an hour to get ready but it moved out quickly once the pressure was up. Very cool car.
dictator27
Is there any evidence of a serial number plate on the left frame rail behind the front wheel?Terry
Guest stude8
Attached is a lubrication chart for a 1925 Studebaker chassis. You can compare the frame cross brackets to what you have. The Standard 6 mechanical summary says it is 113" wheel base.Stude8
