Guest Beqa diver
The project today was rebuilding the carburetor on our 1924 DB Coup. After cleaning the parts we discovered the previous owner had used JB weld to hold many of the parts together. I'm interested in finding a rebuilt carburetor for our car. Please contact me if you can point me in the right direction. Phone 541.622.9949 Thanks, Greg

keiser31
Greg and Bob, It was a real pleasure meeting the two of you today and I absolutely LOVE that coupe of yours. It sounds VERY good running. To all of you who may be confused about the "1924-1925" parts of the post....I think that by the serial number it may be a 1925 chassis and a 1924 body. No cowl vent and a two-piece windshield may be the determining factors. Can't wait to get a ride in it. Guest Beqa diver
Today, after making due with the carburetor (still looking) we decided to open the valve cover. #3 valves were stuck in the up position and after freeing them she started right up. Took it for a spin around the block and after sitting for 6 years ran beautifully. I want to thank John and his wife Sherry for coming over to our place and talking cars. He owns a fantastic 1931 and gave me a ride around the block. They are true enthusiasts and have the old car charm and knowlege my father passed on to his sons. My wife and I look forward to joining the local Dodge Club.
