Looking for Info on 1937 Chrysler Royal

Hi,

I am trying to find out some infomation on my father-in-law's car.

Mainly how rare, possible value etc.

The car in mainly unrestored condition, it has 38,587 miles. 6cyl, right hand drive. Car was found in New Zealand

Body plate number is: 905-X-10982

Engine number is: P4*536854*

was having problems posting pics. its a 4door sedan.

Limiting the photo pixel size to less than 2000 pixels in BOTH directions should help.

I should think they are very rare in New Zealand. But what do I know, they could be in the back row of every used car lot.

Possible value $5000 in good shape. Up to $25000 if it has been sealed in a vacuum chamber since new and is absolutely flawless. As low as $1000 if it is a wreck or parts car.

This was one of the best built cars of its day with up to date brakes, engine, etc. If it is in good shape you should be able to drive it anywhere within reason. By that I mean keep the speed below 60 and remember it is a family sedan not a sports car.
