Riv. Taillight lens I.D.

Hi, Gang. Would someone please I.D. the Riv. year of these tail light lenses? They are marked with a 63 in the Guide number on the lens....but I'm thinking they are 1964 lenses. But then....what do I know!! Help, please. Thanks. John

The emblem is a '64 emblem. The '63 emblem is a round disk with a tri-shield in it. If you take the Riviera emblem off the lens, the depression should be the same as the emblem. If both the emblem and the depression are ovals, it's a '64 lens. If someone has bolted an oval emblem over a smaller round depression then it's a mix.

Thanks, Ed. My '63 had the round emblems, wthin the tri-shield, but the car was an early production '63. I thought perhaps there was a running change sometime during the model year to the "R" logo on the lens. Thanks for clarifying that this wasn't the case. John
