Larry Schramm
Does anyone have the drawings or dimensions for the intake / exhaust valves for the small 4 cylinder engine used in the 1917/1918 D-35/E-35 cars? Redoing a head and looking for the correct dimenstions, angles, lenths, etc. Thanks for any help.

tblack
Larry....I might have an old valve not in a head. ..cant recall if there was a difference in the intake or exhaust. I do remember when I had my engine rebuilt that new valves were not available but mine were in good shape so they were cleaned up and reused. I think at that time though new seats were installed.Mark is right on consulting Dean...If I remember correctly in old issues of Dean's newsletter that others had found acceptable retrofits using modern valves and keepers.Your ring gear is working well in my 17 "truck" and Marks lead on the leather clutch has made it a fun and reliable ride.
