Bob Engle
Points are the same for all series 1931 and 1932. the contact arms (2 needed) #813238. Lower contact point and support # 820558. Upper contact point and support #825452. These are United Motors numbers.BobA 1933 distributor will fit the 1932 and you will only have one set of points to deal with. Buick thought they would need more dwell than they could get from an 8 lobe cam, so they used 4 lobe cam and two sets of points on the first straight eights.Watch out when buying points. Many sets are advertised for 1932 and only have one set of points. I may have some spares if you have difficulty finding any.Bob
Bob Engle
I forgot to mention that the distributor assembly is different for the 50 series. the 60, 80, and 90 series use the same distributor assembly. Points and condensor are common on all series.Bob
