Vintman
Hi all,Another puzzler, this time from Australia. Difficult for me because all relevant bits are decorated and hidden. However the wheelhub is visible and whan greatly enlarged, seems to have 4 or 5 letters. It may confuse, but the second letter seems to me to be a U? Would appreciate any suggestions.RegardsVintman (UK)www.svvs.org
Craig Gillingham
I'd have a guess at it being a Buick, not sure what year, after 15.
Vintman
Hi Craig,Thanks for your input. Easy to see 'Buick' now that you mention it !! One of the makes I had not investigated before posting. Suprising how many have a U in the name. Further investigitation suggests that, as this car has flat mudguards with side pieces, - and has concealed hinges, it has to be in the 1915/16 band. Mudguards became rounded after that. Help much appreciated.Kind regardsVinman
Larry Schramm
I would guess about 1918 because of the rounded fenders.
