oldironkc
Hopefully someone can identify the owner/racer of this car that was in Dean Batchelors Dry Lakes and Drag Strips book. Taken by Vince Cimino in early 40s! Edited April 3, 2012 by oldironkc (see edit history)
Guest 36chev
Here's a wild guess: 32 Ford (or at least something with a 1932 Ford radiator shell) with a supercharged Graham engine?
oldironkc
Yes it is a '32 roadster with a besasie turbocharger, I was wondering if anyone could identify who owned/raced this car! Thanks!
1937hd45
Looks like it has a four cylinger Model B engine, they were engine to have up till the late 1930's when they finally got the flathead V8 to out run them. Have you posted this photo and request on the HAMB? Would the blower put this car in a different class than one without one? Bob
oldironkc
Thanks for the replies. This car was more likely to be run with the Russetta Timing Association. Any chance it is a Willys 4 cylinder?
