I photographed this truck yesterday and am wondering how many of you have a local business that uses old vehicles to advertize. This Chevrolet truck is in really good condition...

There is a local architectural salvage company (old building junkyard) that has a 1937 International 1 ton truck parked at their entrance. It has been slowly deteriorating for the 10 or 15 years they have been in business.

Unfortunately that seems to be what happens to most antique vehicles used to advertise in this manner. They are painted up, and then left to rot. Most don't realize that this isn't like a sign that requires no maintenance. Then they are hauled off to a junkyard when they are too far gone.
