1930 DA Brake Adjustment

I have read several threads about how to properly adjust the brake shoes of a 1930 DA using the eccentric cams but I didn't see a note about the proper direction to rotate these cams. I think there is a recommended direction to rotate these cams to make the adjustments. In other words, I think I read somewhere that is it recommended to turn the forward cam counter-clockwise and the rearward cam clockwise, or visa versa (looking from the back side)? What is the correct direction to rotate these cams? Thanks, Howard.

If you hang the wrench from the cam bolts, you will need to turn them inward toward the axle tube. The cams are shown as a dotted line on the 1931 DH6 diagram. They probably work the same direction as yours. Another way is to raise the car and turn the wheel while turning a bolt until the wheel stops. The second photo is the 1931 backing plate that shows the tapering direction of the cams....
