airbrushguy
Just about to put repainted hood on. What type of bumpers are on the radiator shell to support the front of the hood? I've installed 8 of those inch or so long, double pronged bumpers on the hood and hood supports. What other bumpers are there? Pics would be great. Thanks

danhar1960
G'day Grant, you over the rugby high yet ??? :)Just looking at your pics. How does the bonnet/hood handle not having the centre support wings in the middle ??Do you get panel flex or wobbles etc ???Danny
Guest Grant Magrath
Ha ha!I'm over it! Although I am playing cricket against the Crusaders on Sunday.Haven't noticed anything in the way of flex. Maybe my father has. I'll have to ask him. You know it's a fairly early production one? Bobtail!CheersGrant
danhar1960
Yep, but they retro fitted them. I think the L~ brackets on the fire wall were a retro fix also. My first short chassis didn't have either of them.Danny
jvelde
My '39 has 2 of the two prong rod bumpers on the very front at the radiator and one round bumper down lower. Photos may help illustrate - hope they show what you want.John V.
