414TATA
Hello AllI have seen a number of questions here regarding VIN and Model number information.I was checking my VIN plate on the firewall and even though I know my car is a 1941 model year. The VIN plate reads. 13940909:confused: I know the 1 is for Flint MI. I thought the next number was for the year then the month of manufacture.Any help is appreciated. The body plate reads 1941 with color codes etc. on it.Thanks. I sure I am learning a lot on this Forum.Wayne B.1941 Buick Super 50 Edited October 14, 2011 by 414TATA (see edit history)

Guest Oracle
My databook says that Series 40 Special, 60 Century, 70 Roadmaster and 90 Limited Flint serials ran # 13880012 to 14257441 with motor # 44074859 to 44457940. Southgate numbers had a '2' prefix and Linden '3' but in different sequential series.NEW THREAD:http://forums.aaca.org/f165/cp-engines-313873.html#post945492 Edited October 14, 2011 by Oracle (see edit history)
Den41Buick
If you own a 41 Buick a must have book is "Restoration Facts 1941 Buick" by William C. Anderson. The book is a great resource of information for the 1941 Buick.
