JV Puleo Posted August 12, 2011 Share Posted August 12, 2011 26-31 Buick GeneratorI'm looking for a Buick generator, I believe Delco 940D or 940-T2... used from approximately 26 to 31. This is a generator with a large helical gear on the front and a distributor mounted on the back. The unit I have was heavily modified years ago to put a combined generator and distributor on a brass car. The only critical parts are the armature and the distributor drive gears.... my armature is bent and the gears are missing. I'd be happy to get just those parts. The armature is no problem and I believe I can come up with the distributor gear, but not for sure.
