Dave Mellor NJ Posted July 25, 2011 Share Posted July 25, 2011 Here are the pics. The car on the box looks like a 39 Mopar so it might be from the 40s but it's certainly from your car's era. Unfortunately it must have been in a basement or damp area as there is some rust. The painted areas would be easy to fix and the chrome could be polished out. I said you had first crack at it but after a few days it was available to anybody. I think it would be appropriate for your car as it was available in 1951. Thanks for the Interest, PT, but I think the price is low enough to sell it. It's not bent and it opens freely. It's new stock but aftermarket. I don't know if they had OE at that time. It even has the original box of tissues. The Chrome is good except one tiny rust spot starting in a crease It looks hazy in one shot because I'm not holding it steady.
