unimogjohn
Phil, the used ones I have seen for sale usually look much worse that yours. To repair yours I would simply use JBWeld to fill in the worn portions and smooth when still setting. Make sure that you clean the neck first. Your neck still looks serviceable to me. Just an opinion.
humber349
Thanks John, but the picture is not mine. I have not got one at all.

humber349
The thermostat opens at 120 degrees. Is that fahrenheit or centigrade (celsius) please?

humber349
OK I admit it. Not thinking this through properly.120 degrees celsius is way over boiling point. I will be driving a steam engine down the road.So let's assume it is fahrenheit shall we?
chstickl
For farenheit it would be a rather low opening temperature. Thermostats typically open at 80 Celsius which is 178 Farenheit.Christian
