Rusty_OToole
Does anyone have any experience of the Frantz oil filter? They use a roll of toilet paper for the filter medium. Have been around since the 50s. Some who have used them swear they do an excellent job of filtering oil and practically eliminate engine wear and oil changes.I have one around someplace that I got off a 68 Dodge many years ago. Was thinking of putting it on something. But wondered if anyone else used one?
D Yaros
What I can tell you is, I put one on a brand new 1976 Pinto, yes a Pinto! The engine was still performing fantastic (as fantastic as a Pinto engine can) at 185,000 miles, when I sold the car in 1987, 11 years later!
