1930 Buick Model 40 fuel pump push rod specs

I asked a Buick authority and was given dimensions of 7/32 x 7-15/16 only to find that the diameter is actually 7/16. Now I don't trust the length part of the dimension and the Model 40 I'm working on is missing its push rod, so I've got nothing to reference. If anybody knows the specs I'm looking for, I'd appreciate your passing it along.

Thanks!

Is this is what you are looking for.

I do not see what it is,But I am looking for a 1931 Buick fuel pump pushrod If some one has the right length I can check if mine is correct.

I put on a rebuilt fuel pump and it push it apart broke the fuel pump.

Hi Willy,

I didn't notice it at first, but this thread is two years old. If you start a new thread in this Pre-war Buick forum you will be more successful in finding the information you are looking for.

There were two different fuel pump operating rods for 1931 Buicks. One for the 60 series and one for the 80 & 90 series.
