sleeve-valve
I have a crankshaft that I would like to make sure is right for my 1939 40 series. The number cast on the crank is 1307660. This number does not match the part number in my parts catalog for 1939 or any other year. Is that the right one for the 39 Special?
Guest Grant Magrath
You should probably be safe with any small series crank up to about 1947, so does the number match any of those years?CheersGrant

1939_Buick
Casting numbers are not the same as Buick part numbers
Guest kaycee
As 1939 Buick posted, casting numbers are not part numbers. The numbers may be close, but they're not the part numbers listed in the manuals. A old parts man. kaycee
