MID 30'S CAR.

Recommended Posts

My father's 38 Ford is still for sale. It is an excellent driver. Runs very well. Not a show car, but very good low mileage original condition--as in unrestored except for old repaint and some repairs my father has done (new brake linings, carburetor, door hinge, come to mind).

Car located in Virginia.

Hi, This may be stretching the mid-30's criteria a little bit, but I have a 1940 LaSalle Convertible sedan, body #8, of 75 built, (torpedo back) series 5229. Car is solid with previous owner did a body off chassis. A great deal of chrome has been re chromed. Car is complete, with many extra parts, some appear new old stock. A running '40 LaSalle engine (322 cubic inch, serial number indicated a '40 LaSalle from a 50 series) and it sounds great. The transmission shifts fine. Brakes stop but need adjusting. Tires are old but hold air. Restoration in progress. Price: $20,000. JPMCARCOLL@AOL.COM, Tel: 518-872-1119.
