Good luck buddy.

Get your money right.

I bid on one last year that had been on a 32 Ford and was mint.

It went on E-Bay for well over 400.00.

Another one sold last week for 306.00 and had chipped wings but was NOS.

It was in mint condition except for the chips.

Back in 1978 I bought an exact duplicate of original, chrome plated bronze, for 95.00 dollars from Sherwood Callanberg in, North Hollywood, California. I thought that was a lot of money back then.

Wish I had of bought 10.

Keep watching Ebay and one will turn up.

Wish some of these casting companies would start making them. I am sure there is a demand.

My next challenge is door handles, inside and out, and window cranks.

Would also love to have a perfect radiator shell.

I have your e-mail address. If I see anything I'll shoot you an e-mail.

Good luck.

Hi-Don Sommer has made excellent reproductions caps for various cars of this era including Chrysler winged caps. Not cheap but very well done.
