Tucker in San Antonio Museum

I remember when first stationed in San Antonio, TX , a museum downtown had a Tucker. What ever happened to that car?

I remember the San Antonio museum too, small but had some nice cars, don't remember the Tucker, but when I went through it long ago, a Tucker was just another four door sedan, the hype hadn't begun......

I'd be curious too, is it still there? Remember some nice early cars, and think I even have pictures somewhere....oh, yes, not electronic, but the nice old paper ones you can thumb through and remember....

Saw that Tucker in the San Antonio museum around 1978, have some slides or photos somewhere in the house, will try and find them and post the

pictures, I also remember that there was a large Tucker banner above the vehicle.

'79 was my first assignment to Fort Sam Houston. That is when I first saw the Tucker.

I was in the museum mid 1980's, on a CCCA tour or show, I think, so it was still there then.....
