wyobob
This is probably old news for most, I am posting this info that it may help someone, My '29 DA started flooding and leaking gas from the carb. Carb had recently been rebuilt by a pro & showed no problems with float, needle, seat etc. Finally traced it to the float needle in the vacuum tank which was not seating properly and allowed the gas level to rise in the vacuum tank to the point that it reached the vacuum line to the intake manifold, sucking gas directly into the intake manifold. Fixed the needle seat-problem solved.
