WAS/is there such a high-weeler as a Jaeger ?My buddy in MD knows of one in storage shed ;but seems to think it may be an early homebuilt on an old horse carriage ? He says it's engine is more like an old farm "Hit or Miss" which drives the car with two leather belts.I have not seen this contraption! Will try to have him get pictures.Brad Hunter215 947 4676

I believe I know this car. Used to be in York, PA and is definitely a homebuilt around a Jaeger "Hit or Miss" engine. I was asked to look at it with an intent to determine its authenticity maybe 12? years ago. Likely was sold at auction along with other homebuilts (including several Packard open cars!) when the owner passed maybe 5 years ago.

Thank's Restorer 32 !

My MD buddy said it appeared to be quite crude in construction.

He thought the engine was really a "Hit & Miss" farm type.

The MD owner claims it is really an authentic old "Antique"
