?s regarding "tuxedo" '72 442 convertible

Recommended Posts

Questions I received from a guy who is considering buying a 1972 Olds Cutlass Supreme with the 442 package.

Person wants to know if the paint code (19A) is a "rare" one; was told that it could be a rare paint code - a "Tuxedo package" and there were only a few special orders for it; apparently it is a black and white convertible.

The 19A paint code simply signifies Ebony Black (code 19) and white convertible top (code A). Nothing particularly rare or special about this combo. There was no "tuxedo package" offered by the factory.
