Dave Mitchell
There is a new book "Swedish Coachbuilders" about Swedish coachbuilt cars from 1900 to the present written by Swedish author and historian Jan Stroman. It's primary focus is cars from the 1920s and 30s and covers about 15 coachbuilders in Sweden with bodies built on various chassis including, Ford, Chevrolet, Packard, Cadillac, Buick, Hudson, Volvo, Isotta Fraschini, Hispano Suiza, Voison, Rolls Royce, Mathis, Horch, Opel, Graham, etc. There are a lot of great period photos of exotic cars, some of which no longer exist. This is the definitive book on a subject largely unknown in the US, well researched and documented by a true historian. 215 pages Many black and white as well as color photos.Dave Mitchellpackard12s@hotmail.com Edited July 1, 2010 by Dave Mitchell (see edit history)
