GrayCav56
Hey folks. I'm posting this in the Olds forum as well as the general section to see if any of you guys can help me.My 1966 GTO has a set of these liners installed. It was a relatively rare option and only offered for a short time. They are in pretty good shape, and I cleaned them to remove old bits of tar and other road goo, but could use a bit more work to make them look new.Has anybody redone a set of these? I was thinking perhaps a scuff and then dye job with the same stuff used to do dash pads may do the trick, but I am unsure if that is the way to go.I asked this question about a year ago and got a few tips, but just seeing if anybody else has any ideas.Replacements are very expensive, and I'd like to keep as much original to the car as possible.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

joe_padavano
Tony, the Olds community usually wet sands with increasingly finer grit paper and polishing compound. I know folks have sprayed them, but the problem is getting the correct gloss level.
