Guest bookman1
Would the wrong type fluid in the coupling set up an intermitant but regular vibration (starts around 35mph)?
Rusty_OToole
No. That type of vibration is much more likely to be due to wheels out of balance or possibly bent. If you have 2 bad wheels or bad tires the vibration comes and goes as they go in and out of synch.
JACK M
Check your driveline and u-joints.
Rusty_OToole
The fluid drive is one of the most trouble free long lasting parts ever put on a car. It only has one moving part and everything runs in a bath of oil.Repair manuals contain instructions for replacing the shaft seal but even that is very seldom necessary. Guest frankie47
The wrong type of fluid will foam up and cause cavitation, but not the symptoms you are describing...I use universal tractor fluid from tractor supply myself.Good luck.
