Guest gturkovi
Concerning the earlier Stutz emblems that look similar; there is the "Stutz, Indianapolis, Indiana, U.S.A." and the "Stutz, The Car that Made Good In a Day" ---when were these two emblems used? JohnBoyle
I know the "Indianapolis" one was used until the mid-20s...I don't know if "The car that made good in a day" one was ever used on the radiator badge.I THINK they were just used on later reproductions..I have tie tacks with them. Layden B
This emblem sure looks original to me. I have original pictures showing the "Indianapolis" emblem on 1912 thru 1915 cars and agree with John that it was probably used until about 1920. I believe that it was replaced with this Made Good style on the 6 cylinder cars and probably the last of the 4 cylinder ones. A confusing issue is that Stutz was not consistent when the company used this logo in other places, literature and the dash plate can be/are different.
