Roger Frazee
Thanks for the advice, folks. I contacted Then and Now. They had the gaskets in stock at a very reasonable price.I am new to changing exhaust and intake gaskets. Should I use any type of sealer on the gaskets? Do I need a torque wrench to get the pressure even when I reinstall the bolts? Thanks again for your help.
Guest Fitz
You have to take extra care about the alignement between the intake and exhaust manifold gasket surface. Since those iron part are not new, they will brake without notice if you try to bolt it when every "hole" are not at the same level. Most of the time I send out the assembly for a grind after I had replaced the gasket between the intake and exhaust for the "heat box".Hope this helpFitz.
