Guest DADDIO65
Here is something I noticed... is it normal to grab onto my fan and have it "spin" in its housing? I was working on the old boy and I races the engine and heard a noise from the front of the engine.... I shut it down and found that with a little effort my fan would spin within its housing.... is this normal? It acts as a clutch type fan??
Mssr. Bwatoe
NO..SCRAPOLA I THREW MINE AWAY LAST YEAR. YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO ROLL ENGINEWITH BLADE..NO SLIPPAGE, IT IS CLAMPED IN A PERMANENT MOUNT, CUSHONED IN RUBBER.This is not a clutch fan, the balancer is for weight, harmonics..counter balance sort of thing..
