DB Cowl Lights

Question --- were factory equipped cowl lights wired in with the headlight switch? If so, did they operate on both the high and low setting? I'm contemplating installing a set but would like to understand how the factory originals were done.

On the 1932s the cowl lights have their own position on the column switch. From the off position, low beams are one notch up, high beams two notches up, while cowl lights are one notch down. Thus, you can't have both headlights and cowl lights on at the same time.

I should have mentioned that I have a '25 DB. My light switch is not located on the column.
