West Peterson
I didn't see it last night, but if I recall correctly, I think it was a 1928 Chevrolet.
Guest BruceW
West appears to be correct. The Internet Movie Car Database http://www.imcdb.org/movie.php?id=56592 lists five cars used in To Kill a Mockingbird. Only one of those is a touring and used by by a main character and that is a 1928 Chevrolet touring car. The other cars listed/shown are mostly sedans and a coupe used for brief drive-by or a single scene.Attached is the photo from IMCDB Edited March 4, 2010 by BruceW added photo (see edit history)
Marty Roth
I watched part of it last night, and I concur with West.I toured our '27 Chevy Roadster for years, and am familiar with the body lines -- only major difference between '27 & '28 is the shape of the headlight and lens, the wheelbase streached for the upcoming (in '29) 6-cylinder engine, and the shape of the radiator with the oval at top-center replacing the "Dip" of the '27. Of more interest is that the '28 also had 4-wheel brakes, as opposed to the '27's rear-wheel-only brakes.
