Mark Shaw
I have a pair of rear shocks from a 24 Master, but do not have an interchange manual to see of they are the same.
michaelod
I believe all 4 shocks on the 1931 series 90 are the same as on my 1930 Model 68 which are double-action Lovejoy units. They would have 2 cylinders joined together in siamese fashion on each shock. As far as I know the 1924 Master was single-action.Thanks,
Guest jules greenway
thanks guysAm away from home until Tuesday but will check up on interchangeability then and get back to you thenI believe the master parts list shows different part numbers for each model with the 60s and 90s using the sameMarv, I will be in touch thanks!regardsJules
Guest jules greenway
hi guysI have consulted the Master Parts List and it shows that each year has Shocks with Part Numbers which differ from the previous year, also some car series show numbers specific to that model only. In 1931 one set fits the 60, 80, and 90s with a different set for the 50s. I suspect that sometimes the only difference may be in the spring rates of the interior valves to cope with the different weights of the various cars.It would be great if we could find some original Delco Lovejoy literature which explains all this in detail!Marv I will email because the pair you have sound goodregardsJules
