Hupp36
I just refinished my steering wheel for my 1923 Willys Knight Roadster Pickup and was wondering what kind of wood they used to make it. It is 2 pieces of wood probably steam bent and dovetailed together. Just wondering if anybody might know. Thank you Chuck Edited January 12, 2010 by Hupp36 misspelled steering (see edit history)
JFranklin
Nice! I would guess hickory. Take it to a woodworkers supply shop, I'll bet they might know.
