trimacar
Hi- 1910 Hupp model 20, with Breeze carb, I also have a Breeze fuel strainer/filter. Should this be installed in the fuel line right before the carb, or at the outlet of the gas tank, or???? thanks

trimacar
Hi- thanks, that's interesting, it is of different design than the strainer that I have. Mine is all brass, has a solid round top with inlet, outlet, and cast in arrow for direction of flow. Bowl fits under this round top, and is held in place by screwing in a drain valve on the bottom. It's an "inline" filer as opposed to the "under tank" filter shown. It may still make sense to put mine under the gas tank, if I can locate it where it's reachable for cleaning. And, of course, it's sorta pretty in a way, so hate to hide it too much! thanks for information.

trimacar
Yes, that's pretty much it, with a few minor details different. Mine has a petcock instead of a hex nut on the bottom, so you can drain it. I see an advantage to putting it under the hood, as you could drain a little gas out, then put that gas in the priming cups. Neat catalog information, thanks! David Coco Winchester Va. trimacar
Hi- great response from you guys and from Bill Cuthbert, he says under the hood is appropriate, so that's where it's going! thanks David Coco Winchester Va.
