Rocket 88
Can someone please inform me as to what duel master cylinder I can use to replace the single stock cylinder. I plan to keep the original hydraulic system, but would like to change to a duel system.I have checked most suppliers with no luck. The orig. cyl. mounts with 2 ears under the stock one.Thanksrocket 88<!-- google_ad_section_end -->
RocketDude
It's not a simple project, you would have to replum your system. It's a far cry from just slapping on a dual cylinder. Go through your system, make it perfect, and don't even think of trying to put in a dual system. The brakes on the '57 worked graat for fifty years, don't attempt something you will regret... Talarico8447
Why do you want a dual master cylinder? It was good enough for 1957. As long as your brakes are in good order you should have no problem stoping that fine automobile.
