Guest pfloro Posted October 13, 2009 Share Posted October 13, 2009 (edited) I believe that GM's first 4 speed OD Hydramatics didn't appear until about 1981 (TH700R4 & TH200R4). The first front drive Riviera in '79 (like the Toronado & Eldorado) used the newly developed TH325 (3 speed). 1982 was the first year for the 4 speed in the Toronado (TH325-4L).
