Guest musclecarfan65
finally i have completed the "cold air intake" project for my '65 riviera and added 8 pictures as an album in my CP. they are public for anyone who's interested. engine hood is unmodified and german TÜV says "OK" to this modification of an historic car :-D.BR,dirk. Guest DLT
Dirk, the modification looks great. Are you happy with the result and do you notice an improvement in performance?
Guest musclecarfan65
i noticed a slightly throatier intake sound and a little crispier throttle response. carburetor is not yet adjusted and i have not optimized the engine (e.g. tom's roller rockers etc.). i am not quite sure what my cold air intake means in HP rating or torque because i have not been on the dyno ;-). Bill Stoneberg
Cold air will give you more horsepower. Its a cheap and easy idea that helps.Of course, I speak from the side of the continent where it is hot as hell a good portion of the time, your results may vary.
