John Gelfer Posted July 26, 2009 Share Posted July 26, 2009 Are Model A Ford spark plugs 7/8" 18 TPI? I'm trying to hook up a compression tester for my 1928 Gardner. nickelroadster Posted July 26, 2009 Share Posted July 26, 2009 We sort of covered this a couple of weeks ago with the suggestion of nocking out the guts of a spark plug and threading it to use the adapters that usually come with a compression gauge. Hey if you can buy one from Snyders, by all means do it! It would certainly be easier although probably not as much fun as making one yourself.
