paul55
Can anyone tell me the application for this carburetor? It is hand stamped with the letter "F" on one side.
TheMoneyPit
Most of the thread-on carb's I've seen were either marine or stationary engine use. This does not mean that a very early car did not use them, but the throttle & air intake look stationary to me.
Richard Lichtfel
My 1909 Mason has a Schebler carburetor similar to this except it is flanged to the engine from the side. I have seen this carburetor used on marine and stationary engines with the 1 1/2 inch pipe thread outlet. The mechanism and adjustments are the same. The Schebler model R has a flanged outlet but appears to be the same as your model F.
