Guest mercman86
I found this picture of my grandma and her cousin seated on my Great grandpa Dominics Car. He was a big car nut and owned dozens of exotic and strange cars in his lifetime. My grandma is 83 and cant really remember what kind of car it is but she said that it was taken in 1930 or 31 in Warrenville, Illinois.Any imput is welcome! Thanks, Alex. keiser31
Looks like a 1930 or 1931. It has a 1931 license plate.
Guest mercman86
Its kinda funny, last night i talked to my grandma and i told her that you all identified it as a Auburn she said: "oh yea now i remember, my dad had one and my uncle had one too, a convertible, they were both a pretty tan color!" Brought a smile to her face remembering when she used to ride around in them. Thanks again guys!
Guest Indianfour
Sir: Definitely not 1930 Auburn!! 1931 and later!
keiser31
Yes, I suppose it COULD be an early 1932 with 1931 plates. You are correct...NOT 1930.
mrpushbutton
Could be anywhere from '31 to '33, the '32 models sold very poorly due to the depression and unsold '32s were re-numbered as '33 models
