Shawn Miller
I have a set of these on my Stutz and there are tabs on the snap rings that are supposed to go into slots in the wheel and then lock in place. Difficult to get them together without a special tool I am assuming exists somewhere, or maybe theres a trick i am missing.Anybody had to deal with this before.. any ideas? Thanks in advance! Layden B
Sounds like Stanweld lever locks Just a wrestle, no special tools needed, although strips of teflon or other tough plastic can help against chipping paint. One end goes in and the spring of the ring allows it to be wrapped around the wheel.

Layden B
Too much paint/primer surfacer can interfere with the fit. When the ring is off and laying on the floor it should naturally come together at the ends and of course be round.
