Layden B
6 lobes on the cam and 2 sets of points that open together so I am thinking it worked with 2 coils and had 12 sparkplug leads out of the now missing cap. Input shaft runs at the speed a magneto would ie: 3 revolutions of the input shaft for 1 revolution of the distributor rotor. Marked De Jon and what I take as the model # of IA 4035. Believed to be early 1930's era. Thanks
oldiron
Layden; it's for Pierce Arrow; mid twenties. perhaps as late as '26/'27 series 36, but also for the earlier series 33; I had one on a series 36, but rotors were all but impossible to find. I replaced the Dejon with a Delco.regards; jerry janson
