Guest steveskyhawk
When you pull the dash pad there are three sensors. I believe the one on the right is the photocell. (little blue bulb)The one on the left looks like a transistor and the one built into the 1" ductwork looks like somthing to do with temperature. What is this stuff? How does it work?Anybody? harry yarnell
The one that looks like a transistor is a photocell that operates the Twilight Sentenal (not Reattas) feature on other Buicks and cadillacs. Not sure exactly what it does on the Reatta, but apparently has something to do with the dash/consol lighting. The little blue bulb thingy is the sunload sensor. Not sure if it's a photocell or thermister, but it affects the HVAC, as does the thermister in the duct.
